We had so much fun in October visiting various fall festivals in the Nashville area! There was all the yummy food to eat, games for the boys, and some even had trick or treating as Halloween drew closer.

1860 Presidential Election August 22, 2009
Last Saturday Alan had to work all day and some friends of ours were reenacting stumps speeches from the 1860 election in South Union, Ky. So I took the boys up for the day and we explored the town, did some garage sailing, and of course, watched the debates! However, shockingly, Lincoln won:)

I went to upload all the pictures from our camera to our computer and found some surprises! Apparently Gilbert got the camera one morning and took some pictures…not bad for a 3 year old:)
Help in the Kitchen August 13, 2009
Last week I decided to make banana bread and Gilbert wanted to help. I think he really just like using the mixer, but he absolutely loved it and did a wonderful job!

The boys love it when Daddy gets out his guitar and plays. This particular morning Patrick helped play and Gilbert got his own guitar our and played along as well!
